CACHE DIAGRAMS
First scenario: only the server has a VPFW.
In this case the benefits of the VPFW are for the provider. Clients will appreciate an overall improvement in the reply times of the calls they send to the webservice

Second scenario: only the client has a VPFW.
In this case the benefits of the VPFW are for the client. The server will appreciate an overall fall in the number of calls received in their webservice (which will save resource consumption in their infrastructure). This improvement will be larger with the more webservice clients that have a VPFW.

Third scenario: client and server have a VPFW.
The server benefits from all of the features of its VPFW and will also appreciate an overall fall in the number of calls received in their webservice (which will save resource consumption in their infrastructure), and drastically reduce the output band width consumption due to the activation of communication compression.
The client benefits from all of the features of their VPFW and will also significantly improve the reply times of the calls sent to the server webservice, and drastically reduce the input band width consumption due to the activation of communication compression.
